During the pandemic, not only were we faced with empty grocery store shelves, but there were lines around the block to get into a store. This was difficult at best, and scary to many of us, making us wonder if this was a sign of the collapse of our way of life.
Soon, most stores offered "senior hours" which allowed the older citizens to shop early without waiting in the lines and with less people in the store, thus reducing the risk of contagion. This is a flyer the town of Glendale, California put out to inform those who needed to shop early.
