“It has made it a lot harder for me to continue practicing just everything just because I'm not really in Mass right now. So, they'll offer Mass online. It's just not the same because for me I have to have the Eucharist like the body and the blood and that's just how I get to that meditation zone where it's like I'm really here and it's just like me and god talking. I can't really feel that or get close just doing it from home watching a video. So, I do feel like I haven't been doing the best that I should be doing during these times.”

It has made it a lot harder for me to, like, continue practicing just everything, just because I'm not really in Mass right now. So they'll offer, like, Mass online, it's just not the same because for me, like, I have to sit like, I have to have the body, like the Eucharist, like the body and the blood. And that's just kind of how I get to like that meditation zone where it's, like, I'm really here and it's just like me and God talking. I can't really feel that or get close to doing it from home watching a video. So, I do feel like I haven't been doing the best that I should be doing during these times.

Okay. And is your religious communities still gathering currently?

No, they do not. Like, some of the priests, they'll do like a home type of church Mass, and then they'll send out the link on YouTube. And then that's kind of how we continue to practice at home.

Okay, so next question was: how has COVID-19 affected your participation in your religious community? Which you kind of already answered, but if you want to elaborate.

Yeah, well, I'm not like, really huge into like putting in time to like my community Church but I do attend every Sunday. And I feel like, especially like right now, today, or yesterday was Sunday, I didn't even watch a Mass or anything like that. So I feel like I am skipping and there's, like, has been like breaks of it, which isn't good. I feel like I was more consistent prior to everything happening.

Okay. And the final question is: is your religious community supplying or engaged any kind of community service in an attempt to help alleviate issues caused by this pandemic? And if so, what are those efforts?

Yeah, so my church, they have like a food bank. So whatever food gets donated there, they're always helping. And then also every Sunday when they do ask for donations and things like that, that's usually used for, like, to help families, especially with rent, electricity, bills, things like that. Those are like the most common ones that I know of. I'm sure there's other things that they're doing but they are really engaged, especially through like emails.
